A rear axle on a Ranger does not usually announce itself before it goes. You hear a click on tight turns, or you find a torn boot at a wash, and a few hours later you are winching a two-thousand-pound machine onto a trailer. Read this if you have a 2019
There is one trap on this part, and 4XPRO flags it directly: the 2019 Ranger XP 1000 had a split year for the rear axles. This axle only works on machines manufactured after 7/1/18. If yours is a 2019, verify the manufacture date on the VIN sticker before you order rather than going by model year. Five minutes with a flashlight beats a return shipment.
