The UForce earns its keep hauling, which is the hardest thing you can ask a CVT belt to do. Low speed, heavy load, long pulls up a grade with a full bed — that is the duty cycle where a belt spends the most time slipping and the least time moving air through the clutch box. It is also why a work machine will cook a belt on a schedule while a trail machine goes years. The Hunterworks CVT Drive Belt for the CF Moto UForce 1000 is the replacement for the one that eventually gives up.
What Hunterworks says it is built for
Hunterworks keeps the claim narrow, which is a good sign on a belt listing. This is a higher quality belt purpose built for the UForce side by side, engineered for superior toughness and strength, and — the line that matters most — able to withstand the fast, rough, and heat of a UForce clutch box.
Heat is the whole story with a CVT belt. Slip generates it, a loaded low-speed pull generates more of it, and heat is what takes the edge off a belt's grip long before anything visibly fails. A belt specified for the heat of this particular clutch box, rather than a generic size that happens to fit, is the distinction worth paying for on a machine that works.
Part numbers, and one warning
- Hunterworks part number: HW-851KM
- Replaces OEM part number: OJWA-055000-1000
- Fitment: 2019–2026 CF Moto UForce 1000 and UForce 1000 XL
Now the warning, because Hunterworks puts it in capital letters on the listing and it catches people out: this is not the same vehicle as the new U10 Pro. CFMoto's naming has moved faster than most owners' mental model of the lineup, and the U10 Pro takes a different belt entirely. If your machine is a U10 or U10 XL, this is the wrong page — check the OEM number stamped on your old belt against OJWA-055000-1000 before you order.
Who it is for
Any UForce 1000 owner who uses the machine for what it was built for, and especially anyone who does not have a spare under the seat. A belt is the one consumable in the driveline that can end a day entirely, and it rarely gives much notice. On a platform where nobody has a shelf of take-offs to borrow from, the spare matters more than usual — buy two, run one, and the walk out stops being a possibility.
