Kemimoto Full Doors for the CFMoto UForce 1000 XL: Sliding Windows, PC Over PP and No Drilling

A UForce 1000 XL is a long machine with a lot of open side to it, and open sides are fine right up until the weather turns or the trail gets dusty. Then everything that the tires throw comes straight into the cab, your passenger wears it, and the heater you may have added is just warming the county. The Kemimoto Full Doors with Sliding Window for the CFMoto UForce 1000 XL close the cab in properly, with a window you can still open when you want air, and they list at $2,299.99.

What they actually do

Kemimoto's description is straightforward about the job: the full door panels block wind, rain and dust, and keep external debris off the people in the cab. That is the whole point of a full door over a half door. A half door keeps mud off your leg. A full door changes what the machine is like to sit in.

The part that makes these worth more than a plastic panel is the window. Each door has a sliding window that can be closed for warmth in winter or opened for airflow in summer, which Kemimoto reasonably calls a two-in-one door. Anyone who has run fixed full doors through a warm afternoon knows why that matters — a sealed cab with no airflow is its own kind of miserable, and doors that only work for one season tend to come off and live in the shed.

Two materials, two jobs

  • Upper section: PC — polycarbonate for excellent visibility where you are actually looking out.
  • Lower section: PP — polypropylene for enhanced scratch resistance where brush, boots and gear hit.

That split is the right call. The bottom half of a door gets scraped by everything you load and everything you drive past, and clear plastic down there would be milky by the end of the first season. Putting the clear material where you need to see and the tough material where you need to not care is how a door still looks decent a year in.

Fitment and what it works with

  • CFMoto UForce 1000 XL, 2022-2026
  • No drilling required
  • Works with the standard OE rooftop
  • Does not obstruct the original side mirror mounts

Those last two lines deserve more attention than they usually get. Plenty of door kits fight the factory roof or cover the mirror mounts, and then you are buying a roof you did not plan on or relocating mirrors to the cage. Kemimoto states these work with the OE rooftop and leave the original mirror mounts usable, so you can run your mirrors at the same time. Kemimoto also notes that comprehensive installation guides are available, and that no drilling is needed — which on a machine still under warranty is not a small thing.

Who they are for

These are for the owner who uses a UForce 1000 XL as transportation rather than as a toy. If the machine is how you check fences in February, run the kids down a gravel road, haul feed in the rain, or get across a dusty property four times a day, a full door changes every one of those trips. Pair them with a rear window and a cab heater and you have a machine you will use in weather that currently keeps it parked.

They are less compelling if you mostly ride in dry heat and want the open feel — though the sliding windows blunt even that objection. And if your XL lives in deep mud where you are hosing the interior out anyway, understand that a closed cab is a cab you now have to dry.
