SuperATV Ball Joints for the Polaris RZR XP 1000: OE, Heavy-Duty or Super Duty 300M?

Ball joints are the most overlooked wear item on a Polaris RZR XP 1000. They take every hit the front end takes, they're the first thing to develop play under big tires, and the factory joints aren't rebuildable or greasable. SuperATV's ball joints for the 2014–2023 RZR XP 1000 fix all three problems and come in three strength levels, so you can match the joint to how you ride.

Three tiers, one fitment

All three versions fit both the upper and lower A-arms on the 2014–2023 Polaris RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP 4 1000, including High Lifter and Trails and Rocks editions, and replace OEM part numbers 7081867, 7081992, 7082275, 7082422, 7082487, and 7082892.

OE Replacement

A direct replacement for the stock joint, suited to casual riding. Priced from $49.95 for a single joint, it's the budget fix for a worn front end.

Heavy-Duty

The stud is 4340 VAR steel, hardened to a specific Rockwell and coated in black oxide. In SuperATV's shear tests, the Heavy-Duty joint's PSI breaking point is nearly double that of OEM and other aftermarket joints. This is the sweet spot for most riders on 30-inch tires.

Super Duty 300M

The stud is 300M grade steel, which SuperATV describes as the strongest ball joint material on the market, with minimal narrowing at the neck and an adjustable stud. It's rated 2.25 times stronger than stock and is the pick for lifted machines, portals, and 32-inch-plus tires. Compare all three on the product page.

Greasable and adjustable

Every SuperATV RZR XP 1000 ball joint includes a grease zerk, so a few pumps at each service keep it tight and quiet. The adjustable steel-on-steel design means that when a joint eventually develops play, you tighten it instead of replacing it. That's a big change from tossing stock joints every time the front end gets loose.

When to replace them

  • Clunking over small bumps or a wandering feel at speed
  • Visible play when you rock the wheel top-to-bottom with the tire off the ground
  • Any time you install a lift kit, portal gear lift, or bigger tires

Buy a single joint or a full set

Pricing on the RZR XP 1000 ball joint page runs from a single standard joint to a full set of Super Duty joints, all shipped direct from SuperATV with their warranty. Doing the whole front end at once is the smart move, and you'll find matching A-arms and tie rods in our Suspension collection.
